Craig’s passion is strengthening business and community relationships through his construction projects. He is a leader, a motivator and an innovator with a hands-on approach to anything he does. His dynamic personality, infectious enthusiasm and his genuine love of life drives him to think bigger daily while inspiring his team to push beyond their expectations toward success.
Along with being the Owner & President of MASON Development & Construction, Craig is also the General Contractor, and Real Estate Broker for the company’s commercial Real Estate Division. Craig is a native of South Africa who found his way to Florida via a job offer over 18 years ago. He created MASON Development & Construction just 10 years ago with a full service approach that streamlines all aspects of the construction process. His firm has successfully completed a wide variety of commercial and industrial projects from design-build ground-up projects to tenant improvements throughout Florida. Some of the most recent and notable local projects include: Plaza Delray, Restaurant Row in Boca Raton, Mainstreet at Boynton, among many others. In addition, MASON has also recently completed Craig’s first solo development, Harbour Cay retail plaza on Hutchinson Island.
As the captain of the University of Cape Town’s rugby first team, he’s no stranger to tough competition and fighting for his goals. His relentless focus on nurturing relationships has resulted in all of his firm’s business coming from repeat clients or referrals. Craig is intimately involved in every project MASON completes. It’s this attention to detail and personal interest that ensures MASON’s objectives are exceeded on every construction or commercial real estate project. Through Craig’s leadership MASON has grown to a multi-million dollar company with over $50M+ in contracts this year.
